舞踏・プロレス・音楽という異なる表現を通して、人と人、人と環境の関係を見つめる。
この土地で出会った身体、言葉、記憶から、新しい舞台作品をつくる。

北斎漫画舞踏ワークショップ
舞踏で想像力解放！全身で楽しむ『北斎漫画』の世界
舞踏の基本トレーニングを紹介し『北斎漫画』をモチーフにした踊りに発展させていくこのプログラムは「自分の体を水の入った袋とイメージする」ことから始めます。舞踏に興味がある方はもちろん、運動不足で体を動かしたい方やダンスが苦手な方も自分のペースで進めることができます。
4回通しての参加をおすすめしますが1回のみの参加も歓迎。希望者は11月に開催される舞踏公演「天水」に参加可能です。
初めて参加される方も大歓迎！『北斎漫画』と舞踏の世界を楽しみながら新たな体験をしてみませんか？
北斎漫画舞踏ワークショップの流れ
（※毎回基礎と復習から始まるので、途中からの参加でも問題ありません。）
● DAY 1: 舞踏の基本的な考え方を紹介。空っぽの袋としての体。
● DAY 2: 舞踏の特徴的な「型」の紹介。袋にいろいろ入れてみる。『北斎漫画』も。
● DAY 3: 動かされる袋。情念によって内側から変化する袋。環境に影響される袋。
● DAY 4: 『北斎漫画』を題材にした振付の一部を紹介。一緒に踊ってみましょう。
Would you like to experience an amazing Butoh dance that will unleash your imagination in the world of the Hokusai manga? In this workshop, we will introduce basic Butoh training in the process of developing the Hokusai manga motif into a Butoh dance.
Butoh is characterized by the idea of one's body as an empty bag. In the basic training, we imagine our bodies as bags of water inside, and by the water the body moves. You can develop new sensations. This unique concept is characterized by a different way of dealing with the body than Western dance, and even those who believe they are not good at dancing can proceed at their own pace. The workshop is suitable even for beginners, and is a pleasant and relaxing way to unwind and relieve tension in the mind and body.
The flow of the workshop
(*Each workshop will begin with a review of the basics, so there is no problem if you start in the middle of the workshop).
● DAY 1: Introduction to the basic ideas of butoh. The body as an empty bag.
● DAY 2: Introduction to the characteristic “kata” of butoh. Putting various things in the bag. Also “Hokusai Manga”.
● DAY 3: The bag that is moved. A bag that changes from the inside according to emotion. A pouch that is influenced by its environment.
● DAY 4: Introduce some of the choreography based on “Hokusai Manga”. Let's dance together.

身体と土地の記憶から、新しい舞台を立ち上げる
舞踏家・我妻恵美子の演出のもと、舞踏家、プロレスラー、音楽家が福島県楢葉町に滞在し、町を歩き、人と出会い、地域の歴史や現在の暮らし、風景、人々の記憶に触れながら、新たな舞台作品を創作します。
震災と原子力災害を経験した土地の現在から、人と人、人と自然、そしてこれからの暮らしと環境の関係を、舞踏・プロレス・音楽という異なる表現を通して見つめます。
私たちが大切にしているのは、あらかじめ完成した作品を土地に持ち込むことではありません。
どんな人と出会い、どんな話を聞き、どんな風景を目にするのか。そこで身体が何を受け取り、どんな表現が生まれるのか。
時間をかけて土地と関わりながら、作品を立ち上げていきます。

Creating a New Performance from the Memories of Bodies and Place
Creating a New Stage Work from Bodies and the Memory of the Land
Under the direction of Butoh artist Emiko Agatsuma, Butoh dancers, professional wrestlers, and musicians stay in Naraha, Fukushima. Walking through the town and meeting local people, they encounter its history, present-day life, landscapes, and memories, and create a new stage work from these experiences.
From the present reality of a place that has experienced both earthquake and nuclear disaster, the project explores relationships between people, between humans and nature, and between everyday life and the environment through the different forms of Butoh, pro wrestling, and music.
What matters to us is not bringing a finished work into the community.
Who will we meet? What stories will we hear? What landscapes will we encounter?
What will our bodies receive from these experiences, and what forms of expression will emerge?
By spending time with the land and building relationships with it, we allow the work to gradually take shape.
楢葉町から始まる創作
Creating in Naraha
2026年9月から楢葉町で滞在制作を開始します。
フィールドリサーチや地域の方々との交流とともに、誰でも参加できる舞踏ワークショップを開催します。
舞踏を知らない方も、踊ったことがない方もご自身のペースで無理なく楽しむことができます。
希望する方には、その後の作品づくりや公演にも参加可能です。
プロのアーティストと地域の人々が、それぞれの身体や経験を持ち寄りながら、一緒に舞台をつくっていきます。
Beginning in September 2026, we will begin a creative residency in Naraha.
Alongside field research and exchanges with local residents, we will hold Butoh workshops open to everyone.
No previous knowledge of Butoh or dance experience is necessary. Participants are welcome to explore movement comfortably at their own pace.
Those who are interested will also have the opportunity to take part in the creative process and the final performance.
Professional artists and local participants will bring together their different bodies and experiences to create a performance together.
2027年2月、舞台へ
Towards the Performance — February 2027
楢葉町での滞在制作を経て、東京でも創作を継続。東京で制作途中の作品を公開するワークインプログレスを行います。
そして2027年2月、「ハマカルアートウィーク」にて、楢葉町で生まれた作品を舞台作品として発表します。
作品が完成するまでの過程も映像として記録し、浜通りで生まれる創造を国内外へ発信していきます。
一度の公演で終わるのではなく、土地や人との関係を育てながら、これからも続いていく「プロジェクト天水」を目指します。
Following the residency in Naraha, the creative process will continue in Tokyo. Works-in-progress will be presented in Tokyo, offering audiences a glimpse into the development of the performance.
In February 2027, the completed work will be presented as part of Hamakaru Art Week, bringing to the stage what has emerged through our encounters and creative process in Naraha.
The development of the project will also be documented on film, sharing the creative work emerging from Fukushima's Hamadori region with audiences in Japan and abroad.
PROJECT TENSUI is conceived not as a one-time performance, but as an ongoing creative project—one that continues to grow through relationships with people and place.
