Inspired by Katsushika Hokusai’s Hokusai Manga, Ten Sui – “Hell” (excerpt) reconstructs the everyday life and bodily culture of Sumida, Tokyo through Butoh. Bringing together Butoh and professional wrestling, it generates a powerful physical dialogue, revealing the body’s primal energy through tension, resistance, and transformation.
